About Michelle MarQuand

Education

 Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Indiana University in 1997 with double majors in Political Science and Criminal Justice.  In 2001 Michelle earned her Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University and has been licensed to practice law in Indiana since then. 

Experience

 

Michelle spent several years as a prosecutor in both large and small communities.  She was assigned specifically to sex crimes, juvenile cases, and child support enforcement. Michelle also prosecuted many other types of cases including arson, theft, domestic violence, and drug charges.  

Michelle also spent 6 years as a staff attorney for the Indiana Department of Child Services, dealing with all matters of family law including adoptions, termination of parental rights, guardianship, custody, and child support.

Focus

Since 2016, Michelle has been focused entirely on criminal defense and the representation of family law disputes such as paternity, divorce, custody, and guardianship.
